American
actress Danielle Riley Keough. [2] She was born in Santa Monica to Danny Keough
and Lisa Marie Presley. She is the daughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and
singer. Keough was born in Hawaii by her father, as well as living in Los
Angeles by her mother. She also lived in California and Tennessee with her
mother. When she was 15, she began modeling, including appearances in fashion
shows with Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior, as well as being
featured on the cover of Vogue. When she was 20, Keough was cast in a minor
role in The Runaways (2010) as Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011) the
film, she was a part of Jack & Diane (2012). Then she was cast in Magic
Mike (2012), a minor part in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy film Magic Mike (2012).
After her appearance in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned in 2012, Keough was cast
in the action film of the same name, which was a huge budget Mad Max: Fury Road
(2015). In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort
in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience,
executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name.
The role was praised by the critics, and she was nominated for a Golden Globe
Award for Best Performance by an actress in a limited motion-picture or series
created for television. Keough's performance as a lost young girl in American
Honey (2017) garnered her even more praise, and also an Independent Spirit
Award nomination. In the same year Keough played the lead in the
apocalyptic-themed horror film It Comes at Night (2017), and reunited with
Soderbergh to be a part of his heist film Logan Lucky. In 2018, she played in a
variety of thriller and horror films, including Lars Von Trier's The House That
Jack Built and the Neo-Noir Under the Silver Lake and Hold the Dark. Keough
played the lead role in 2019's psycho-horror film The Lodge. She was next seen
in Zola (2020) which is a comedy-drama. Keough is Sandy Harrison in Netflix’s
2020 release of The Devil All the Time.
