Rita Ora Bio
Rita Ora is a British musician and singer from the UK. Rita Sahatciu Ora was born in 1990 in Pristina (Kosovo) to Vera (Bajraktari), and Besnik Sahatciu. Besim Sahatciu is her granddaughter. At the age of one her family decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. She was raised in West London and attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School in Earls Court, following which she graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School and then St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing from the age of a very young age.In 2004, she appeared in the British film Spivs. She was a contestant on Eurovision Your Country needs You on BBC One to be the British contestant for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest but later withdrew from the competition after a few shows because she was not sure she was ready. Ora's debut music release came in 2007 when she appeared on Craig David's song "Awkward" as well as in 2008 on "Where is Your Love" featuring Tinchy Stryder. In addition, she appeared in music videos. Ora started singing in bars around London. A few days later, Ora flew to New York to meet Jay-Z, an A&R informed Roc Nation about Ora. Ora was featured in Jay-Z's video from 2009 for "Young Forever" and "Over" from Drake. Jay-Z was impressed by Ora's talent and quickly signed the singer to Roc Nation. In which Ora was part of a commercial for Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. She started singing from the same pub her father, Besnik, was a pub owner. Gwen Stefani is a major influence on her manner of speaking. She also cites her father Besnik, who was a pub owner. The actress is close to Kate Moss, and Ed Sheeran.
